A matched pair of 10 karat yellow gold hoop earrings. The circular hoops feature a flat outer profile decorated with evenly spaced incised motifs resembling small stars or crosses. The earrings are constructed with a hinge and notched post closure, commonly referred to as a saddleback closure. The ear wire of one earring is stamped with the maker mark KMS and the fineness mark 10K. Total weight: 3.19 grams Diameter: approx. 0.75 inches (measured against a ruler). Condition: The earrings show wear consistent with age and use, including light surface scratching and minor indentations to the metal hoops. There is surface tarnish and discoloration present on the ear wires.
