Three English bone china teacup and saucer sets featuring patterns by Royal Stafford, Aynsley, and Mintons. The Royal Stafford set is from the Tartan Series and features the Black Watch tartan design with a heraldic crest bearing the motto Nemo me impune lacessit, accented by purple heather sprigs and gold gilded scalloped rims. The cup base carries a green backstamp with a crown icon, Tartan Series, ROYAL STAFFORD, BONE CHINA, MADE IN ENGLAND, and EST. 1845. The Aynsley set displays a wide turquoise border with gilded scrollwork and a central floral bouquet featuring a pink rose, framed by a gold sunburst border. Its base bears a green Aynsley backstamp, BONE CHINA, ENGLAND, and a gold handwritten pattern number C1664. The Mintons set, produced for Ryrie Bros. Limited in Toronto, is decorated with multicolored floral garlands and a geometric border with floral panels and cross-hatch motifs. The underside shows a purple Mintons globe mark for RYRIE BROS LIMITED TORONTO and the pattern number H4307. Condition: The sets are in good vintage condition overall. Minor wear is present on the gold gilding of the Royal Stafford saucer rim. Fine crazing is visible on the underside base of the Mintons cup. No chips, cracks, or repairs are evident.
