This is a signed first edition, first printing of Ray Manzarek’s 2001 novel, The Poet in Exile. The Doors' founding member signed the interior in black felt-tip marker, including the band's name. Published by Thunder’s Mouth Press, thishardcover volume is a wonderful find for any collector of rock and roll history. This book is in lovely overall condition. The interior pages are clean and bright, showing only a faint stamp on one leaf (photo 3). The black dust jacket displays some light surface scuffing and minor shelf wear to the edges (photo 1).
