This classic tenor ukulele features all-solid mahogany construction and a rich tone. The body is accented with faux-tortoiseshell binding, and the rosewood fingerboard is fitted with friction tuning pegs. A gold-toned headstock decal readsMartin & Co. EST. 1833, and the interior center strip is stamped C. F. MARTIN & CO. - NAZARETH, PA. It includes a black hardshell case with a brass badge reading Oahu CASE COMPANY.This vintage instrument shows character from years of play, including a small side crack (photo 16) and finish wear on the upper bout (photo 11). The neck heel shows a slight gap (photo 14), but the piece retains its classic appeal.
