Dimension: 29"L/ 30"L. antique 19th-century French Louis XV style fireplace tool set, meticulously crafted from a combination of polished steel, cast brass, and wrought iron. These tools were designed as high-end, functional luxury appointments for formal salon hearths. Ash Shovel (Right): Outfitted with a wide, flat, slightly flared rectangular iron pan attached via a heavy steel wedge to scoop out cool ashes. Fire Tongs (Left): Designed with a hinged U-shaped brass collar at the handle end, terminating in curved claw-like tips to securely grip and rearrange burning wood logs.
