Dimension: 29"L/ 34"L. The most notable feature is the pistol-grip handle carved entirely from a single piece of light green jade (nephrite). The pommel curve is delicately sculpted with traditional Islamic floral reliefs. An extremely deeply curved, single-edged steel saber blade. This extreme curvature is the signature trait of the shamshir (literally meaning "lion's tail" in Persian), engineered strictly for fluid, sweeping cutting motions from horseback rather than thrusting.
