Dimension:3"x 2 1/2". Raymond Boyd is a highly regarded Navajo artist known for his master-level Southwest jewelry. He specializes in a distinct blend of Navajo silverwork and Zuni-style mosaic inlay. His signature pieces frequently depict scenes of nature, realistic micro-inlaid birds (such as hummingbirds, cardinals, and blue jays). Prior to 1980, Boyd typically signed his work using a delicate, hand-engraved script signature ("R. Boyd" or "R.B."). In 1980, he transitioned to using this specific 1/16-inch gothic block print stamp reading "RAYMOND BOYD". This confirms the buckle was produced in 1980 or later.
