This auction lot features a vintage twenty-six inch tall electric table lamp featuring a hand painted porcelain figurine base that depicts an elegant woman in eighteenth century attire walking a borzoi hound dog. The porcelain display rests on a textured dark metal filigree base and includes a white fabric lampshade with an intricate open lace border along the bottom rim. The lamp functions properly when plugged in but exhibits significant condition issues including a heavily deteriorating fabric wrapper on the upper wire frame of the lampshade fraying along the upper shade hem minor paint wear on the gold accents of the figurine dress and general age related surface dust in the detailed crevices.
