This twelve point five inch porcelain figurine depicts a colonial town crier dressed in a traditional rust orange coat, patterned green vest, and striped breeches. He holds an unrolled scroll containing printed script in one hand and a metallic silver bell in the other. The underside of the base features handwritten notations reading Williamsburg VA along with a date stamp from August eighth nineteen seventy-five. The piece displays a small glaze flake or paint scrape on the rear left side of the tricorn hat rim, but otherwise the porcelain body remains completely free of chips, deep cracks, or previous restoration work
