Antique Victorian Floral Jar - Taylor, Tunnicliffe & Co ( 1880) Beautiful, authentic late-Victorian ceramic jar Manufactured by the historic English pottery makers Taylor, Tunnicliffe & Co. (Stoke-on-Trent, England). Based on the registry mark and hand-painted pattern number (1684) on the base, this piece dates roughly between 1875 and 1898. Features a gorgeous textured/stippled cream body decorated with vivid hand-painted purple and yellow floral blooms. It is fitted with its original wavy metal collar and twisted metal swing handle. Please note: The original lid is missing. Because it lacks a lid, it makes a stunning, unique open-top decorative piece. It is absolutely perfect to reuse as a vintage kitchen utensil crock, an indoor planter, a makeup brush holder, or a statement flower vase. Condition: Excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. Beautiful aged patina on the metal hardware.
