Striking Mid-Century Modern ceramic table lamp attributed to Quebec ceramic artist Maurice Chalvignac, circa 1960s–70s. Large, sculptural 13" ceramic body with an exceptionally rich, high-gloss dark brown/black glaze featuring flowing areas of green, bronze, amber and reddish coloration. The elongated bottle-form body is complemented by a turned wood neck and brass lamp fitting, creating a particularly elegant and dramatic design. 26" high overall to finial; ceramic body 13" high; base approximately 4" diameter; turned wood neck approximately 4". Lamp is in very good overall condition and is wired and functional. A particularly attractive example of Canadian Mid-Century ceramic lighting. TRHere is no shade
