A Collection of US Proof Set and Loose Dollars and

This lot contains a US Proof Set from 1981 and a grouping of loose US coinage. The 1981-S Proof Set is presented in its original US Mint black plastic and red felt display case. The set consists of six coins: a Lincoln cent, Jefferson nickel, Roosevelt dime, Washington quarter, Kennedy half dollar, and a Susan B. Anthony dollar. All coins in the set bear the S mint mark. The loose coinage includes a large-size 1776-1976 copper-nickel clad Eisenhower dollar housed in a2x2 cardboard and plastic flip. There is an assortment of 21 loose Susan B. Anthony dollars, dated 1979 and 1980. The collection also includes 18 loose Kennedy half dollars, predominantly featuring the 1776-1976 Bicentennial reverse design. One additional coin roll labeled 0 HALVES 1 is present, containing further half dollar specimens. The clad coins are composed of a copper-nickel alloy over a pure copper core. The 1981-S Proof Set coins exhibit original mint luster with significant peripheral blue and gold toning, particularly visible on the dollar, half dollar, and quarter (photo 2). The loose Eisenhower dollar shows light surface marks.
