Early to mid-20th century Gilbarco service-station gasoline pump retaining strong original presentation and desirable Sinclair H-C Gasoline advertising. The tall rounded metal cabinet is fitted with a Gilbarco Calco-Meter register marked “Premium,” showing sale, gallons, and cents-per-gallon indicators, and is equipped with a side-mounted rubber delivery hose and cast-metal nozzle. The pump retains internal parts/components, however unknown if complerte, along with its front Sinclair H-C Gasoline round advertising emblem, “Contains Lead (Tetraethyl)” placard, and North Carolina Weights & Measures approval tag. Above is a large round Sinclair H-C Gasoline globe in green, red, and white. The cabinet appears largely unrestored, with extensive oxidation, surface rust, paint loss, pitting, discoloration, and deterioration, particularly around the lower body and base, including visible metal loss and rust-through. The meter face, trim, globe housing, and lens show additional age-related wear and grime. Operational condition of the pump, meter, and globe lighting has not been verified. Measures 87"H x 22"W x 16"D.
