A limited-edition color lithograph on paper by French artist Charles Blondin (20th Century), titled in pencil along the lower margin "Paris, Place du Tertre au clair de lune." The work depicts a bustling evening scene in the Montmartre district of Paris, featuring figures strolling past illuminated shops and outdoor cafe tables with red awnings, with the Sacré-Cœur Basilica rising in the background. The print is numbered 308/500 in pencil in the lower left margin and bears the artist's signature in pencil to the lower right. It is housed under glass within a wide mat and a simple, off-white painted wooden frame. The print shows mild, uniform toning across the paper face, with more pronounced discoloration along the sheet edges from contact with the mat board. The surrounding mat exhibits heavy acid burn and dark amber toning throughout. The painted wooden frame shows scattered scuffs, paint loss, and structural separation at the mitered corners, particularly at the lower left corner where a distinct gap is visible between the molded segments. The work has not been examined outside of the frame.Measures 12"H x 15"W and 17"H x 22"W with frame.
