Elegant early 20th century cabinet combining Queen Anne-inspired furniture forms with richly hand-painted decorative panels. The upper case is fitted with two tall doors painted in an elaborate Renaissance-inspired scheme of scrolling foliage, flowers, urn motifs, and circular profile medallions depicting crowned classical figures against a deep brown ground. Opening the doors reveals a spacious interior with a single adjustable shelf, while the cabinet is elevated on a shaped apron and four slender cabriole legs with carved foliate knees and scroll feet. Walnut-toned veneers and molding frame the painted decoration and lend the piece a refined, decorative presence. Includes key. Condition shows age-appropriate wear including scattered scratches, scuffs, finish rubbing, small losses and marks to the painted and wood surfaces, with additional wear along edges and legs. Measures 53.5"H x 26"W x 14.5"D.
