Charming Simply Shabby Chic three-drawer chest designed in the romantic cottage style associated with Rachel Ashwell, finished in soft white with restrained Neoclassical-inspired detailing. The rectangular case is fitted with three broad drawers, each framed by recessed molded panels and mounted with paired antiqued-brass ring pulls, while the upper frieze is enriched with a repeating relief decoration of circular floral medallions joined by delicate swag motifs beneath a narrow molded top edge. The clean white finish, understated classical ornament and aged-brass hardware give the piece the light, feminine character closely associated with the Simply Shabby Chic collection. An interior branded stencil clearly reads “Simply Shabby Chic,” confirming the line attribution; Simply Shabby Chic was Rachel Ashwell’s more accessible furniture and home-furnishings collection. Condition is good overall with scattered light scratches, scuffs and surface marks to the white finish, including several faint stains and ring marks to the top, minor rubbing and small edge imperfections consistent with household use, and expected patination to the metal pulls.
