A late-20th-century Vanguard Studios color reproduction after Daniel Ridgway Knight (American, 1839-1924), "Springtime" (original composition circa 1890), depicting a young woman amid flowering trees in a verdant rural landscape, with printed "Ridgway Knight / Paris" signature at lower right. Presented under glass in a broad bronze- and gilt-tone molded frame with applied floral, foliate and scroll ornament and beaded inner molding. Reverse retains a Vanguard Studios-style wall-decor label, catalog no. 471023-6, together with a Jane Tillery Interiors, Greenwood, Indiana retailer label. Approx. 38 in. W x 32 1/2 in. H overall.
