A Vanguard Studios framed winter landscape, dated 1976, depicting a misty blue-gray woodland beside still water with bare trees and a solitary figure in the middle distance, signed at lower right with a stylized name appearing to read "Fede-Torres" or similar (reading uncertain) and dated 1976. Presented in an elaborate bronze/gilt-tone molded frame with raised floral, foliate and scroll ornament and beaded inner molding. Reverse bears the Vanguard Studios-style label reading "A distinctive creation from the leading designer of wall decor," catalog no. 474034. Approx. 34 1/2 in. W x 24 1/2 in. H overall.
