Hickory Chair Mahogany Bowfront Console

A Hickory Chair Furniture Company mahogany bowfront console or server table in the George III taste, with a figured/flame-mahogany top enclosed by a three-sided pierced fretwork gallery, two dovetailed drawers with brass bail pulls and keyholes, carved openwork corner brackets, square legs and a full-width lower display shelf with a bowed front. A brass Hickory Chair maker plaque is mounted inside a drawer. A fitted black drawer organizer/liner and Hickory Chair fabric pouch are present as photographed. This is an identical matching companion to Lot 40; the measured dimensions are the same: approx. 33 1/2 in. H to the top surface and about 36 in. H overall including the gallery.
