A Hickory Chair Furniture Company mahogany bowfront console or server table in the George III taste, with a figured/flame-mahogany top enclosed by a three-sided pierced fretwork gallery, two dovetailed drawers with brass bail pulls and keyholes, carved openwork corner brackets, square legs and a full-width lower display shelf with a bowed front. A brass Hickory Chair maker plaque is mounted inside a drawer. Photographed measurement shows approx. 33 1/2 in. H to the top surface, with the gallery bringing the overall height to about 36 in.; width and overall depth were not fully recorded. Matching companion offered as Lot 41.
