Hand-signed and hand-embellished caldograph on wood from the Arabic-numbered international edition of 200, presented in an elaborate gallery frame and accompanied by its original Park West Gallery Certificate of Authenticity, 2022 Park West appraisal, and related collector documentation. A richly atmospheric architectural composition by acclaimed American artist and longtime Walt Disney Studios background artist James Coleman, Red Door Reflections exemplifies the artist's distinctive command of luminous color, cinematic light, romantic architecture, and reflective water. The composition is anchored by a brilliant red double doorway beneath a dark iron balcony and profusion of flowering vines, while the lower register opens into an expressive expanse of water alive with broken reflections of scarlet, amber, silver, blue, and deep brown. The unusually narrow vertical format gives the scene a heightened sense of intimacy and architectural drama. Coleman's vivid red doorway becomes an immediate visual focal point, framed by weathered masonry, shuttered windows, foliage, architectural ornament, and slender striped mooring posts.
