A vintage Art Nouveau-style sterling silver statement ring, described by the consignor as sterling and dating from at least mid-century, w/ styling consistent w/ an Art Nouveau revival or possibly earlier 20th-century origin; previously exhibited a blackened oxidized patina now polished away. The bezel-set face centers a large elongated coffin-cut faceted pink stone, appearing consistent w/ paste or synthetic ruby, flanked on both shoulders by sculpted repoussé leaf-and-berry motifs climbing the split shank in a naturalistic vine design. No maker’s mark clearly visible in the provided images. Approx measurements: ring size 7 (US); face 1.11 in. long x 0.75 in. wide; weight 10g. Stone appears intact w/ no visible chips; silver shows scattered surface scratches, minor bezel wear at stone edge, and light residual darkening in the recesses of the sculpted leaves consistent w/ age and cleaning.
