A dainty Bell Trading Post sterling silver ring set w/ an elongated marquise-shape turquoise cabochon in a pale robin’s-egg blue tone showing faint natural veining. The stone sits in a smooth serrated bezel framed by stamped scrollwork on each side and a symmetrical border of applied silver beads at the top and bottom, in the Fred Harvey era Southwest revival style long associated w/ Bell Trading Post of Albuquerque. Split shank shoulders taper to a plain rounded band. Interior stamped STERLING alongside the Bell Trading Post maker’s cartouche. Face measures approx. 0.62 in. tall × 0.38 in. wide; turquoise cabochon approx. 0.15 in. across at its widest. Ring size approximately US 5.75. Weight 3g. Condition: shows light oxidation deepening the stamped detail; turquoise cabochon secure in bezel w/ no visible chips or cracks; band and shoulders intact w/ minor surface wear consistent w/ age.
