Pair of tall old primitive wooden shutters or architectural panels featuring heavily weathered wood, remnants of old white and green paint, and large hand-forged-style iron strap hardware. The pair has excellent rustic and architectural salvage character with extensive surface wear, paint loss, scratches, cracks, nail holes, oxidation to the iron hardware, and naturally developed patina throughout. The weathered finish and old hardware give these a strong farmhouse, primitive, or reclaimed architectural look. Each measures approximately 80 inches high x 19 inches wide. Exact age, maker, and original building use are unknown. These appear to be older architectural shutters or door panels. Condition shows wear appropriate for age and use, including heavy paint loss, weathering, surface wear, cracks, wood shrinkage, oxidation, and other age-related imperfections. Please review all photographs closely for construction and condition. If you have any doubt, please attend the preview and examine all photographs closely before bidding.
