Large Vintage Galvanized Oval Wash Tub

Large vintage galvanized metal oval wash/bath tub with rolled rim, reinforced lower band, riveted/seamed construction, and metal side handles. The tub has a great aged surface with oxidation, discoloration, staining, and wear from years of use, giving it strong primitive and farmhouse character. This larger size would have originally been suitable for general household washing or bathing and today would make an excellent decorative planter, beverage tub, garden feature, farmhouse display, or primitive decor piece. Measures approximately 48 inches long x 16 inches high x 26 inches wide. Appears to be an early-to-mid 20th century utilitarian galvanized tub. Exact maker and date are unknown.
