Beautiful natural emerald and diamond ring featuring a large octagonal step-cut emerald surrounded by a substantial diamond setting in platinum. According to the included GemAssure Gemological Appraisals report, the center gemstone is a natural emerald beryl weighing approximately 6.48 carats and measuring approximately 11.90 x 10.00 mm. The appraisal describes the emerald as green, transparent, dark tone, Type 3 clarity, with intense color and excellent symmetry. The ring is accented with 16 round brilliant-cut natural diamonds having an approximate combined weight of 1.07 carats. The appraisal lists the diamonds as approximately G-H color with VS1-VS2 clarity, excellent symmetry, and excellent polish. The mounting is platinum, marked .900, with a gross ring weight of approximately 9.0 grams. The GemAssure appraisal lists an Estimated Retail Replacement Value of $33,290.00. This appraisal was prepared by a California gemological appraisal company, and a local appraisal could be more or less than the stated value.
