Vintage Stevens Model 87D tube-fed semi-automatic rifle chambered for .22 Short, .22 Long, and .22 Long Rifle ammunition. Commonly known as the "Gill Gun" because of the distinctive vent slots in the receiver. Manufactured circa early 1950s. Features a 24-inch barrel, tubular magazine, adjustable rear sight, front sight, and hardwood stock. No serial number is present, which is normal for many American rimfire rifles manufactured before federal serial-number requirements. Includes the pictured Flambeau hard plastic rifle case. Fair to good used condition with finish wear, scratches, scuffs, and age-related discoloration. The stock and forearm show scattered handling wear. A dark repaired or reinforced area is visible around the rear of the forearm and should be examined closely. The rifle has not been test-fired or independently tested by the auction company. Firearms will not be sold to anyone under 21 years of age. Shipped firearms must be sent to a licensed FFL dealer. A $10 background-check fee applies to every firearm purchased for local pickup.
