Early first-year-production Remington Model 740 Woodsmaster semi-automatic rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield. Serial number 16141. Manufactured in 1955, the introductory year for the Model 740. Features a 22-inch barrel, factory front and adjustable rear sights, walnut stock, distinctive grooved walnut forearm, detachable box magazine, scope mounting bases, and black sling. Good used condition for its age with visible finish wear, scratches, handling marks, and hunting wear throughout. Please examine all photographs closely for the exact cosmetic condition.
