Description: Small hand-knotted wool tribal rug/mat with a central diamond medallion on an ivory ground, filled with a stylized floral motif and flanked by geometric and diamond border designs in rust red, orange, ivory, and black. The palette and geometric medallion style are characteristic of Baluch tribal weaving, traditionally produced by nomadic and semi-nomadic weaving groups across the Iran–Afghanistan border region; a specific weaving group or exact age isn't confirmed. Fringe at both ends. A good decorative accent piece — small enough for use as a mat, stand cover, or wall-hung textile. Measures W: 12.5", L: 17". Condition Report: Good vintage condition, wear commensurate with age. The wool pile shows some overall flattening/wear consistent with handling and age, and the fringe shows minor age-related discoloration in spots. No holes, moth damage, or significant color loss Keywords: Baluch rug, tribal rug, hand-knotted wool rug, small oriental rug, diamond medallion rug, Afghan tribal weaving, Persian style rug, geometric wool rug, vintage tribal textile, small area rug, nomadic weaving, collectible rug Dimensions: W: 12.5", L: 17"
