Pair of opalescent art glass decorative eggs in graduated sizes, with a soft frosted surface in pale white and pale citron tones. Opalescent glass gets its name from its resemblance to genuine opal: cloudy and milky in reflected light, but flashing iridescent rainbow color when held up to a light source. The smooth, weighty forms make them a popular tabletop or display accessory, appealing to collectors of art glass for this distinctive light-reactive quality. No maker's marks are present. Larger egg measures approximately 3.5" H x 2.25" W; smaller egg is proportionally sized. Condition: Good condition overall. Consistent finish throughout with no visible chips or cracks. Please review photos closely; we do our best to catch all flaws but small imperfections can be missed. Dimensions: H: 3.25", W: 2.25", L: 3.5"
