Folk Art Ceramic Angel Wall Plaque, Signed 2024

Updated September 17, 2026

Handmade ceramic angel plaque in a whimsical folk art style, hand-painted with a smiling face, dark curly hair, layered dove-gray wings, and a robe decorated with a red-roofed house, a sun, and falling rain. The piece is incised on the reverse "Terry 01/2024," indicating it is a signed, dated work by the artist. Folk art angels like this are popular with collectors for their charming, storybook quality and one-of-a-kind handcrafted appeal — often displayed as wall hangings or seasonal decor. Measures approximately 11" H x 6" W. Condition: Good handmade condition overall. The front glaze is glossy and intact with no visible chips. The unglazed reverse shows a hairline surface crack running from the top edge down through the back (see photos), along with a small firing pit/indentation near the top center — both appear to be part of the original making process rather than damage, but noting for transparency. Please review photos closely, as we do our best to catch all flaws but small imperfections can be missed. Dimensions: H: 11", W: 6"
