36" long. An antique umbrella frame featuring a distinctive knotted, gnarled wood handle with a rich dark patina, wrapped in cord binding near the shaft. A silver-tone metal collar sits below the handle, engraved with a decorative monogram, adding a touch of personalized elegance typical of quality period umbrellas. The frame retains its original wire ribs and remnants of a fringed tassel/pull cord, representing the skeletal structure of what would have been a fully covered Victorian or Edwardian umbrella before the fabric canopy was lost to time. A fascinating find for collectors of antique umbrellas and parasols, monogrammed silver accessories, unusual wood-handled implements, or those seeking a striking sculptural decorative object. Condition: Frame is uncovered; original fabric canopy is not present. Handle shows notable natural wood texture, knots, and age-related surface loss/wear at the tip, shown in photos. Metal collar retains legible monogram engraving with expected tarnish. Wire ribs appear largely intact though please examine closely for any bent, missing, or detached spokes. We do our best to note visible flaws, but some imperfections may not be captured. Keywords: antique umbrella frame, monogrammed umbrella handle, Victorian parasol frame, gnarled wood umbrella handle, silver collar umbrella, antique wire umbrella ribs, Edwardian umbrella frame, engraved monogram antique, decorative umbrella skeleton, period umbrella frame display Dimensions: W: 3", L: 36"
