A striking piece of vintage art glass, its clear, softly iridescent body accented with trailed ribbons of green and orange glass pulled vertically around the form. The applied trailed decoration is a hallmark technique of hand-blown studio glass, where molten threads of colored glass are drawn onto the surface while still hot, creating a fluid, organic pattern unique to each piece. The vase is unsigned, so no maker can be confirmed, but the quality of the iridescence and the confident, fluid trailing suggest skilled hand craftsmanship. Height: 9½" Opening diameter: 3" Widest point: 6" Dimensions: H: 9.5", W: 6"
