A large-scale textured print reproducing Frederic Remington's "An Indian Trapper," the original an 1889 oil on canvas now held in the Amon Carter Museum of American Art. The scene depicts a mounted trapper pausing on a rocky mountain trail, rifle in hand, with additional riders visible in the distance — a composition Remington developed from sketches made during an 1887 expedition into the Canadian Rockies, later reproduced in Harper's New Monthly Magazine. Remington remains one of the most recognized chroniclers of the American West, and this large-format textured reproduction captures the painterly quality of the original with vivid color and dramatic mountain scenery.
