Rockford Watch Co. hunter case pocket watch, approximately 2" diameter. 15 jewel movement marked “Rockford Watch Co. U.S.A.,” serial no. 715778. Signed Rockford dial with black Arabic numerals, red five-minute markers, subsidiary seconds dial and blue hands. Ornately decorated gold-filled hunter case featuring engraved rural house scenes, floral and scroll decoration, and bird motif. Case marked as two plates of solid gold and warranted for 25 years. Inner dust cover is script monogrammed “P.H. Huber.” Includes an antique approximately 12" watch chain with T-bar. Chain is unmarked; metal content is unknown. Watch winds and is currently running. Shows normal age-related wear and some wear/loss to the gold-filled finish, particularly around the bezel and edges. Watch has not been tested for accuracy or extended running time.
