llinois open face pocket watch with 17 jewel movement, housed in a Philadelphia Watch Case Co. 20 Year gold-filled case. Movement marked “Illinois Springfield Watch Co.,” “17 Jewels,” “Adjusted” and “Double Roller,” serial no. 8051735. Measures approximately 1 3/4" across. Monogrammed case back. White dial with a very tight hairline crack. Watch is running at time of cataloging; accuracy and service history unknown. Includes approximately 11" yellow metal watch chain with T-bar and decorative horseshoe/door knocker style fob. Chain and fob have no visible maker or metal content marks. Normal age and use wear as shown.
