Scarce example made of lithographed tin instead of paper over wood. Provenance: Richard Mueller Collection. Given the age and inherently fragile nature of these paper-lithographed wood toys, staining, tears, repairs, restoration, and occasional replacement parts should be considered characteristic of the medium rather than serious detractions. We have nevertheless noted any defects observed, while recognizing that some allowance for restoration is both reasonable and expected. 32" l. Replaced flag, general age related wear and weathering, overall in (Very Good to Excellent Condition)
