Given the age and inherently fragile nature of these paper-lithographed wood toys, staining, tears, repairs, restoration, and occasional replacement parts should be considered characteristic of the medium rather than serious detractions. We have nevertheless noted any defects observed, while recognizing that some allowance for restoration is both reasonable and expected. 29" l.
