Original color etching by listed Austrian artist Josef Eidenberger (1899–1991) depicting Munich’s historic Marienplatz. The finely detailed scene features the twin onion-domed towers of the Frauenkirche, the ornate New Town Hall, Marian Column, pedestrians, and vintage automobiles. Eidenberger studied graphic arts in Vienna and became widely recognized for his atmospheric architectural and landscape etchings. Pencil signed “Eidenberger” at lower right. Presented beneath glass with layered white and dark brown matting in a walnut-finished wood frame; Approximately 18" X 21" including frame; artwork. Located in primary bedroom. Must bring your own packing materials, boxes and help to load items.
