This is a vintage 1950s Benrus Self-Winding automatic wristwatch. The dial is signed "BENRUS" with the brand's 3-Star logo and "Self Winding" text, featuring applied gold Arabic numerals and dauphine hands. The case back is marked "14K Gold Electroplate Bezel, Stainless Steel Back, Open Thru Crystal," along with "BENRUS" and "WR" (water resistant), and the crown is signed with the Benrus "B" logo. The automatic movement is signed "Benrus Watch Co Inc, Model FE2D1, Unadjusted, Seventeen 17 Jewels" - based on the ETA 2451 family of automatic calibers used across several Benrus self-winding models of the era. Case diameter measures 30.88mm excluding the crown, and the watch is fitted with a brown leather strap showing wear from age and use. This watch is running as of the time of listing.
