Vintage Charco-Lite charcoal lighter fluid can featuring bold mid-century-style red, green, black, and white graphics. The rectangular metal can holds 1 U.S. pint and was manufactured by Cataract Chemical Co., Inc., Buffalo, New York, for Eclipse Metal Mfg. Corp., Eden, New York. Advertising phrases are printed on the can to promote Charco-Lite. Overall, an attractive vintage advertising/garage or barbecue collectible with authentic patina. Dimensions are approximately 6 1/2"h x 4"w x 1 3/4"d. Good vintage condition with expected age and use wear. The colorful graphics remain bright and highly legible overall. There are scattered scratches, scuffs, small paint losses, surface marks, dents, and areas of discoloration throughout. The top shows noticeable oxidation/rust and residue around the cap and opening, while the bottom has dark staining, scratches, and surface wear. The metal edges show additional oxidation and age-related wear. The red screw cap and dispensing spout/tip are present. Can appears empty but contents have not been verified other than no smell and photos.
