Pair of Vintage Wooden Wall Candle Sconces

Updated September 15, 2026

Decorative matching pair of wooden wall-mounted candle sconces featuring elongated, shaped backplates with gently curved sides, rounded ends, and beveled edge detailing. Each sconce has a projecting half-round shelf with a turned wooden candle cup designed to hold a taper candle or sconce. The rich brown stained finish highlights the natural wood grain and gives the pair a traditional or Colonial-style appearance. Each backplate has a drilled mounting hole near the top for wall hanging. Wood construction with a brown or light walnut stained finish. The candle cups appear to be turned solid wood. Dimensions are approximately 14""h x 4 1/2""w x 4""d. Good pre-owned condition with age and use wear. Both sconces show scattered surface scratches, scuffs, small nicks, finish wear, and light discoloration, particularly along the routed edges and around the lower portions. There are a few small white/light-colored marks and areas of rubbing to the finish. Natural variations in the wood grain, including visible knots, are present. Candle cups and shelves are intact, and no major cracks or significant structural damage. Overall, a solid decorative pair with attractive aged character.
