Vintage Thin Metal Ashtray

Vintage round tabletop ashtray featuring a deep burgundy brown finish with an Art Deco–inspired stepped ribbed design across the center. A raised metal cigarette rest is riveted to the center and provides three individual cigarette grooves. One end of the rest has a round, mirror-like decorative medallion; remnants of a printed or etched design lettering are still visible but are heavily worn. This piece appears to be pressed or stamped metal, likely steel, with a dark painted or enamel-type finish. The center cigarette holder rest is metal with a plated finish. Dimensions are approximately 2"h x 5" diameter. Poor to fair vintage condition with substantial age-related wear. There is extensive finish loss, flaking, chipping, scratches, discoloration, oxidation and surface rust throughout the ashtray, particularly across the interior smoking surface. The metal cigarette rest shows significant tarnish, oxidation, spotting and finish loss, and the decoration on the round medallion is heavily faded and worn. The underside also has numerous scratches and areas of finish loss. Despite the cosmetic deterioration, the ashtray is intact, with the center cigarette rest still securely attached.
