Round black ashtray with a deep recessed bowl and a wide, raised rim featuring four molded cigarette rest notches spaced around the edge. The underside has a stepped, concentric-ring design. Appears to be black glazed ceramic or pottery, with a glossy finish. The exposed worn areas appear consistent with a ceramic body beneath the glaze. Dimensions are approximately 4 1/4" diameter. Poor to fair pre-owned condition. There is substantial wear to the interior, including a large area of heavy brown discoloration and residue, and significant loss or deterioration of the glossy black finish. Additional wear, scuffing, scratches, residue, and finish loss are visible around the cigarette rests and rim. The underside shows lighter surface wear and minor edge finish loss. No obvious major cracks or breaks. Some TLC could bring this piece back to life.
