LONGEVITY CHARACTER PATTERN HIGH-FOOTED CUP. <br>Height:8.5cm (3.35in) , Diameter:8.2cm (3.23in) Wide flared mouth, curved bowl body rising to a tall stem foot articulated with raised bow?string mouldings, a canonical Qing?dynasty stem?cup form. The bowl is painted in dou?cai palette with rising?sun?among?clouds motif: a vermilion?red sun orb surrounded by multi?hued swirling clouds with bright well?layered colours. The stem bears underglaze?blue ??shou?? (longevity) characters conveying auspicious blessing. Interior plain white; foot base inscribed with underglaze?blue regular?script six?character mark ??Da?Qing Yong?Zheng Nian?Zhi??.
