IMITATION LOTUS-SHAPED WATER BOWL. <br>Height:9cm (3.54in) , Diameter:9cm (3.54in) A fine example of Qing?dynasty biomorphic porcelain. Modelled in the shape of a budding lotus flower, the body is moulded in relief with overlapping lotus petals incised with fine vein lines, and the rim imitates opening petal tips. The whole piece is covered with even and soft douqing (pea?green) glaze with smooth lustre. Base bears under?glaze?blue six?character seal?script mark ??Da Qing Qian?Long Nian Zhi??. Biomorphic porcelain is characteristic of Qianlong imperial wares.
