"Merlin" 2023 Border Collie Male

Updated September 14, 2026

**As described by the Vendor**   "Merlin" 2023 Border Collie Male Date of Birth: 11/10/2023 Sire: N/A Dam: N/A Registered: No Microchip #: No Desexed: No Vaccinations: No Suited To: Cattle & Goats Category: Working/Going Merlin is a blue merle Collie dog, born 11/10/23, of unknown origin. He is a naturally well-balanced dog with a good wide cast either side. He prefers to move stock with presence and pressure, giving them the opportunity to move without biting, but will use a clean nose bite when necessary. He is generally a silent worker but does have the odd excited "gruff" bark when fresh. He will cast blind, use scent to locate and retrieve cattle. He has mainly been used mustering off horseback, doing long days and travelling all day without issues. He is also accustomed to working from a quad bike or ute. He excels in weaner education. Has been started on a small herd of goats with no issues. Whilst he has not been on sheep, I suspect he would transition with ease. He is a good, honest dog who is easy to get along with and no fuss to have around. He is easy to have in the camp with other dogs, gets along well and isn't a fighter. He will jump straight on the ute or bike and travels well. A/c S Cook   GST Registered: Yes *The bid price is inclusive of GST – GST will not be added to the knockdown price*
