Hand-carved sculpture in green mottled soapstone, consistent with traditional Shona stone-carving from Zimbabwe. Featuring an abstract, stylized face with closed eyes & incised lines representing hair or a head covering. Polished surface with light speckling. Measures 3-1/2x6-1/2x1-1/2 ins. No visible makers marks. Typical wear present consistent with handling.
