Ceremonial-style south western African Lega tribal mask from Congo used in ritual dances. Crafted in the early 20th century. Made of carved wood with natural pigment remnants, it stands approximately 17 ins. tall. Mounted on a black metal stand for display. Wear consistent with age and use is visible.
