II (The Waiting II), circa 1970s. Unique signed lost-wax bronze, approximately 40 × 39 cm, mounted on a dark-stained wooden pedestal. The sculpture portrays an elongated, partially enclosed figure leaning forward in a posture of watchful anticipation, modeled with Fontanella’s characteristically rough, open-work surfaces.
